What is natural rubber?
Natural rubber is made from the latex of the rubber tree the Hevea brasiliensis. The extraction of latex is done by cutting diagonally into the bark (cambium) of the rubber tree. The white-colored milk juice that flows from this is called latex. Through several processes, the final product Natural Rubber is obtained from this.
Well-known product is the beige-colored Para Rubber sheet and beige rubber bands. Natural rubber has excellent tear and abrasion resistance. Natural rubber is also widely used in soot-filled (black) compounds with SBR and BR like the mixtures also used for car tires. Its temperature range is between -25°C and 80°C. It has high elasticity, high tear resistance and tensile strength. Natural rubber is very suitable for making:
- Strips, gaskets or rings
- Insulation, damping and shock absorption purposes
Natural rubber is widely used for making car tires and vibration dampers and other technical rubber items, where good mechanical properties are required such as in our depilatory blocks and rubber whips.

- Also available in extra stiff version, for applications where the block is subjected to heavier than normal loads, such as when dehairing heavy sows
- Available with bushing diameters of Ø13, 15 and 17 mm
TYPE FF- 40 “EXTRA STRONG”
- This is the extra rigid version of the regular FF-40 block.
